About Katy

As a young girl I was already aware of the images, and sensations I received but was unable to make sense of it until my senior year of college. My career began in the southwestern part of the US where I finished my senior thesis from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities - in Anthropology in Ethno botanical Studies, following and studying the Curanderas of Northern New Mexico. Walking back into the far reaches of the desert to find a specific plant to heal a specific ailment. Documenting the stories and the folklore that went with each plant and the smiling faces of the Hispanics healers brought a sense of purpose to my life path. I continued to work in archaeology, on the Hovenweep site, which was an astronomical center for the southwest, where windows in towers held the timing of planting and agriculture in the region. It was my first glimpse into how the stars in the sky held practicality on earth.
Upon my return to Milwaukee, I began to study Vedic Astrology, Numerology, various Oracle readings and Archangel studies with vigor and purpose.
Over the last 10 years, I have raised money, in Benefits, for the following organizations:
|
Cystic Fibrosis Assoc | |

The Grain Exchange | |
